SentryPass

We are excited to introduce SentryPass, a groundbreaking innovation from Gate Sentry that transforms the way visitors enter gated communities. SentryPass is a mobile access pass designed for your visitors. With a quick scan of the SentryPass, gate staff receive all necessary visitor information, enabling them to grant access in three seconds or less. This eliminates the need to search for residents’ names or rely on paper passes, which can be shared with others or falsified. By combining speed, security, and convenience, SentryPass offers an unmatched experience for residents’ visitors entering the community.

How It Works

When a resident adds a visitor in Gate Sentry, they now have the option to include the visitor’s cell phone number. Adding their cellphone number prompts the Gate Sentry software to automatically send the visitor their SentryPass via text. The SentryPass is specific to that visitor and includes both visitor and host information, along with a QR Code. The SentryPass is only valid for the duration set by the host.

The “Scan” Function

Our guard software has been upgraded with a new ‘Scan’ function, specifically designed to read the QR codes from SentryPass. When a guest arrives, they simply display their SentryPass on their mobile device. The security personnel will then scan the QR code, and instantly, the guest’s information appears on the tablet. This enables swift verification of their credentials and the granting of access.

For Guests Without SentryPass

We understand that not every visitor will have a SentryPass. In these cases, security personnel will continue to log them in as usual, ensuring that entry protocols are maintained for all visitors, regardless of their access method.
