The Gate Sentry team is honored to be part of the DFW community, especially alongside organizations like The Gatehouse, a Grapevine nonprofit created to help women and children rebuild their lives and move toward lasting independence.

From the moment the Gate Sentry team learned about The Gatehouse and its mission, we were deeply moved by the work they do. The care, patience, and long term commitment they show to families navigating incredibly difficult circumstances are something we truly admire. We are grateful for the opportunity to partner with The Gatehouse and support the work happening on their campus, and we want to take a moment to shine a spotlight on the meaningful impact they continue to have on families in our community.

A Model Built for Lasting Change

The Gatehouse is designed around long term progress rather than short term relief. Women are given the time and stability needed to move beyond crisis and begin rebuilding their lives with intention and direction.

On its 61 acre residential campus, The Gatehouse offers fully furnished apartments where women and their children can live for up to two and a half years. This extended stay allows families to focus on building their career or continuing their education, while planning for the future without the pressure of immediate uncertainty. Mothers are able to rebuild confidence while working toward sustainable independence within a stable, supportive environment.

Support That Meets Families Where They Are

Support at The Gatehouse goes far beyond housing alone. Women have access to counseling and emotional support, financial coaching, career development resources, legal assistance, healthcare services, and daily guidance focused on self sustainability and personal growth.

Each woman follows a program tailored to her goals and circumstances. Based on where they are in their career path, women can choose from the Education Track, Vocational Track, or Career Track, helping them build a future that supports long term stability beyond their time at The Gatehouse. To support these efforts, The Gatehouse provides childcare assistance while women complete their chosen tracks, helping families stay together as mothers focus on building a stable foundation for themselves and their children.

Our Small Role in a Meaningful Mission

A community doing this much transformative work needs a peaceful, secure environment, one where mothers and children feel safe as they rebuild their lives.

We are humbled that Gate Sentry plays even a small part in supporting that environment. Through our partnership, Gate Sentry provides the access management software used to help safeguard The Gatehouse campus. Our technology helps their security team manage visitor verification, volunteer traffic, and daily check ins, allowing staff to stay focused on what matters most, serving the women and children who call The Gatehouse home.

Our hope is simple, that by quietly keeping the campus secure, we help enable the life changing work happening inside.

How You Can Join the Mission

The impact of The Gatehouse reaches far beyond its campus, but its programs depend on the support of the community. You can volunteer on campus to support mothers and children directly, give financially to help fund housing, childcare, counseling, education, and other aspects of the Gatehouse Program, or share their mission within your own network. Every contribution, big or small, helps change the trajectory of a family’s future.
